My work is driven by the natural beauty and enjoyment that surround us everyday. It can be the flowers outside my studio door, a winter hike in Alaska, wind from a motorcycle ride, or a vision taken from the pages of printed text. I love to work with glass as my choice of media. The reflective and refractive nature as well as the translucency inspire the choice of color and form that I may share my passion with the viewer. The technical challenges appeal to my scientific background while the inherent beauty of the material when combined with light appeal to my visual sense
