Artist’s statement

With all of my work whether it is painting, sculpture or installation I want to impart a feeling of joy by using color.

Some of my large paintings deal with   the idea of entering the out doors.

Others deal with the idea of   entering a utopia or heaven.    Often in the modern world we spend the majority of our time inside a building either at work or at home.  I think this is leading to disconnect with the natural world and growing living things.
